The exact formula, published.
Salicylic acid is oil-soluble, so unlike the others it can travel down inside a pore rather than working only on the surface. Most brands tell you it's in there. Almost none tell you how much — here is every acid in this jar at its exact concentration, straight from the filed formulation.
5.45% total acids — enough to keep pores clear and soften rough texture over a few weeks, low enough to use two or three nights a week without wrecking your skin barrier. The other 94.55% is water, witch hazel flower water, humectants, and 20-odd botanical extracts including centella, aloe, licorice root and green tea. All 45 ingredients are printed on the jar.

How often should I use these?
Start with two nights a week, build to three or four if your skin is comfortable. Every night is too much for most people with a 5.45% acid formula, and pushing it is how you end up with a compromised barrier rather than smoother skin.
Will it sting?
A brief tingle for a few seconds is normal and settles quickly. Sharp stinging, burning or redness that lasts more than a minute means it's too much for your skin right now — rinse with cool water, moisturise, and give it a few days before trying again with less frequency.
Morning or night?
Night. Acids make skin more sun-sensitive, so using them in the evening gives your skin the overnight window to settle. Sunscreen the next morning either way.
Do I rinse after?
No. Pat the remaining essence in and follow with your moisturiser. It's a leave-on step, not a wash-off one.
Can I use it with retinol or vitamin C?
Not on the same night, at least to begin with. Alternate them — acids one evening, retinol another. Layering multiple actives is the most common cause of irritation, and it makes it impossible to tell which product is doing what.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
It can be, at a lower frequency — once a week to start. But it does contain acids, alcohol and several plant oils including tea tree, lavender and citrus, all of which some people react to. Patch test first, and if you have a diagnosed skin condition, ask your dermatologist before starting.
Can I use it while pregnant?
Ask your doctor. Salicylic acid in skincare is generally considered low risk at these levels, but that's a conversation for someone who knows your situation, not a product page.
How long will one jar last?
70 pads. At three nights a week that's roughly five months. Used daily, closer to two.
Why do the pads dry out?
They won't if the lid is closed properly. The pads sit in the essence, so leaving the jar open lets it evaporate off the top layer. Press the lid shut after each use.
What's actually in it?
Water, witch hazel flower water, propylene glycol and a small amount of alcohol as the base, five acids at 5.45% combined, hydrolysed hyaluronic acid, and around twenty botanical extracts including centella asiatica, aloe, licorice root, green tea and chamomile. Preserved with phenoxyethanol and methylparaben. All 45 ingredients are printed on the jar in full.
When will it arrive?
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. The estimated delivery window is shown at checkout before you pay, and your tracking number follows within 48 hours of dispatch. Some items ship from partner warehouses overseas, which we'd rather tell you now than after you order.
What if it doesn't suit me?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return for a refund. Message us through the contact page and we'll send instructions. If it arrives damaged, faulty or wrong, tell us within 7 days with a photo and we'll replace or refund it, shipping included.
